Armando Galella has been selected as the agency’s Executive Director

Dr. Kathleen Davey, Chairperson of the Board of Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida announced that Armando Galella has been selected as the agency’s Executive Director.
Voices for Kids is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the abused, neglected and abandoned children in Southwest Florida by securing and training Guardian ad Litem volunteers who become the child’s “voice” in court, school and the community. And through the Kids Being Kids Program VFK provides those items which give children a sense of normalcy in life and help them “fit in” i.e. a warm, cozy bed, emergency/supplemental clothing, participation in sports, the arts and clubs, happier birthdays, academic tutoring, summer camp, medical needs etc.
Galella most recently served as the District Director of Catholic Charities of Collier County. In that capacity he was responsible for program operations, program development, funding development, maintaining certifications, and cultivating community partnerships.
Galella obtained a masters degree in public administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Pace University in White Plains, New York, attended the Graduate School of Journalism at Boston University, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
